You are an entry-level Engineering Technician with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems. You have hands-on experience troubleshooting equipment and are eager to learn about data center operations. Desirable

What you'll do
As an Engineering Operations Technician at Amazon, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the heartbeat of our data centers. You will be responsible for operating and troubleshooting critical electrical and mechanical equipment, including stand-by diesel generators, switch gear, UPSs, and cooling systems. Your expertise will directly contribute to achieving our goal of 99.999% uptime, ensuring that our customers have continual access to the cloud services they rely on. You will work closely with a team of engineers to identify and resolve issues, perform routine maintenance, and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Your role will involve hands-on work, requiring you to be proactive in addressing potential problems before they impact service delivery. You will also participate in training and development opportunities to expand your skill set and advance your career within Amazon.
