Desirable
Experience with diesel generators, three-phase electrical systems, and cooling equipment is a plus. Familiarity with AWS infrastructure services will help you excel in this role.
What you'll do
As an Engineering Operations Technician at Amazon, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting data center operations. You will work with stand-by diesel generators, UPS systems, and various electrical components to ensure seamless operations. Your role will involve hands-on troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical equipment, including CRAC units, centrifugal chillers, and air handlers. You will collaborate with a team of engineers to address operational challenges and contribute to maintaining an extraordinary uptime of 99.999%. You will also participate in routine maintenance and inspections to ensure all systems are functioning optimally. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability of AWS services, supporting customers' access to innovative solutions.
