Who you are

You are an entry-level Engineering Technician with hands-on experience in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems. You have a solid understanding of equipment such as diesel generators, UPSs, and building automation systems, and you are eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. You are committed to adhering to safety procedures and ensuring operational excellence in all tasks you undertake.

You possess strong problem-solving skills and can perform root cause analysis of equipment failures. You are comfortable working in a team and providing support to Data Center Operations technicians. Your attention to detail allows you to take accurate operational readings of mechanical and electrical equipment, ensuring that all systems function optimally.

What you'll do

As a Cleared Engineering Operations Technician, you will operate and maintain critical mechanical and electrical equipment within the data center. You will troubleshoot facility and rack-level events, ensuring compliance with internal SLAs. Your responsibilities will include performing limited maintenance tasks such as filter changes and HVAC PMs, as well as managing workflows and spare part inventory using internal CMMS.

You will supervise contractors performing servicing or preventive maintenance and respond to off-hour emergency calls as part of an on-call rotation. Your role will require you to work 12-hour shifts, which may include rotating shifts across 3, 4, or 5-day work weeks. You will be a key player in driving innovation and reducing operational costs while ensuring that all safety procedures are followed.
