What you'll do

As a Cleared Engineering Operations Technician, you will be on the front lines of AWS's infrastructure services, ensuring that all systems are operational and efficient. Your responsibilities will include hands-on troubleshooting of critical equipment such as diesel generators, UPSs, and building automation systems. You will provide 24/7 shift coverage, which may involve rotating shifts and extended hours. Your role is crucial in maintaining the reliability of AWS data centers, and you will collaborate with various teams to address operational challenges and implement improvements.

You will engage in routine inspections and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational protocols. Your ability to analyze and resolve issues quickly will be key to minimizing downtime and enhancing service delivery. You will also participate in training sessions and team meetings, sharing insights and learning from your colleagues to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
