What you'll do
As an Engineering Operations Technician at Amazon, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the electrical and mechanical systems that support our data centers. Your day-to-day tasks will include performing routine inspections, conducting preventive maintenance, and addressing any operational issues that arise. You will work closely with other technicians and engineers to ensure that all systems are functioning optimally, contributing to our goal of achieving 99.999% uptime. You will also be involved in the installation and configuration of new equipment, ensuring that it meets our high standards for performance and reliability.
You will have the opportunity to work with advanced technologies and systems, including UPSs, PDUs, and cooling towers. Your role will require you to be proactive in identifying potential issues before they escalate, using your technical expertise to implement effective solutions.
