You are an Engineering Technician with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems — you thrive in hands-on environments and enjoy troubleshooting complex equipment. Your experience includes working with diesel generators, three-phase electrical systems, and cooling equipment, ensuring that mission-critical facilities operate smoothly and efficiently.
You have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high uptime standards — your expertise directly contributes to the seamless operation of technology infrastructure that powers global digital experiences. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are eager to tackle the challenges that come with maintaining critical systems.
What you'll do
As an Engineering Operations Technician at Amazon, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting data center operations, including stand-by diesel generators and related fuel systems. You will work with three-phase electrical systems such as switch gear, UPSs, and PDUs, ensuring that all equipment operates at peak performance. Your role will involve collaborating with a diverse team of engineers to support AWS global infrastructure, tackling complex problems that impact supply chain efficiency.
You will play a critical role in ensuring that our data centers achieve an extraordinary 99.999% uptime — your hands-on approach will help identify and resolve issues quickly, keeping the digital world running smoothly.
