Your experience includes working with three-phase electrical systems, diesel generators, and cooling systems, ensuring that mission-critical facilities operate seamlessly. You understand the importance of uptime in data centers and are committed to maintaining high standards of operational excellence. You are a problem solver who enjoys tackling complex challenges and collaborating with a diverse team of engineers.
Desirable
Experience with AWS infrastructure services is a plus, as is familiarity with data center operations and maintenance protocols. You are eager to learn and grow in your role, contributing to a team that values innovation and efficiency.
What you'll do
As an Engineering Operations Technician at Amazon, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the electrical and mechanical systems that support our data centers. Your role will involve hands-on work with equipment such as UPSs, PDUs, and cooling systems, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally. You will collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and resolve issues quickly, contributing to our goal of achieving 99.999% uptime. You will also participate in routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks, documenting your findings and actions to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
You will be part of a team that supports the design, planning, and operation of AWS global infrastructure, working on the most challenging problems in the industry. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability of our services, helping to keep the digital world running smoothly.
