You are an entry-level Engineering Technician with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems. You have hands-on experience troubleshooting complex equipment and are eager to learn about data center operations. Your attention to detail ensures that you maintain high standards of uptime and reliability in mission-critical environments.

You possess a basic understanding of electrical systems, including three-phase electrical systems, switch gear, and UPSs. You are comfortable working with mechanical systems such as diesel generators and cooling equipment. Your ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of engineers and specialists is one of your key strengths.

What you'll do

As an Engineering Operations Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the technology infrastructure that powers Amazon's global digital experiences. You will work directly with mission-critical facilities, ensuring that all systems operate smoothly and efficiently. Your role will involve hands-on work with electrical and mechanical equipment, including generators, chillers, and air handlers.

You will collaborate with a team of engineers to support AWS data centers, contributing to the design, planning, and operation of the infrastructure that keeps the cloud running. Your expertise will help maintain an extraordinary uptime of 99.999%, directly impacting the reliability of services for millions of customers.
