What you'll do

As an Engineering Operations Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, operating, and troubleshooting the Data Center Operations' Mission Critical Facilities — this includes working with stand-by diesel generators, fuel systems, and various electrical systems. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and effectively, directly contributing to the reliability of AWS services.

You will collaborate with a team of software, hardware, and network engineers to address any operational issues that arise — your hands-on troubleshooting skills will be essential in diagnosing and resolving problems quickly. You will also participate in routine maintenance and inspections of critical systems, ensuring that all equipment meets operational standards.
