You are a skilled Data Center Technician with experience in troubleshooting operating systems and resolving infrastructure issues. What you'll do
As a Data Center Technician at Amazon, you will be a primary resolver for your support team, addressing a variety of infrastructure issues that arise within the AWS data centers. You will collaborate with software, hardware, and network engineers, as well as supply chain specialists and operations managers, to ensure that all systems are functioning optimally. Your role will involve troubleshooting and resolving issues related to operating systems, as well as escalating more complex problems to the appropriate resolver groups when necessary.
You will create and maintain comprehensive documentation on the technologies you support, ensuring that your team has access to up-to-date information and standard operating procedures. Your ability to convey this information to junior staff will be crucial in fostering a culture of learning and development within the team. You will also have the opportunity to innovate and implement solutions that enhance the efficiency and reliability of the AWS infrastructure.
What we offer
Amazon provides a competitive starting pay for this position, with hourly rates ranging from $33.00 to $58.00, depending on experience and qualifications.
