What you'll do
As the General Manager's Assistant, you will plan and coordinate events aimed at employee engagement, taking charge of budgeting and scheduling. You will organize on-site events, prepare promotional materials, and collaborate with stakeholders to execute projects that benefit your location. Your role will also involve managing communication channels, such as newsletters and local message boards, to ensure that employees are informed and engaged.
In addition, you will serve as a Charity Champion, working with local organizations to coordinate volunteer work, fundraising campaigns, and other charitable initiatives. You will be responsible for managing recognition programs that celebrate employee contributions and foster a sense of community within the logistics center.
