Who you are
You have at least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications, which you have used to support operational tasks effectively. You are flexible and willing to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, and can lift up to 49 pounds while standing or walking for extended periods. You understand the importance of safety and compliance in a fast-paced environment and are committed to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
You are a team player who enjoys coaching and training associates, ensuring they adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Your ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external suppliers makes you a valuable resource in the department. You are proactive in identifying safety hazards and addressing them promptly, contributing to a safe working environment for everyone.
What you'll do
As a Process Assistant, you will support the Area Manager in managing daily department duties, including allocating labor and leading meetings. You will assist in tracking and reporting labor hours and performance metrics, ensuring that associates meet production goals. Your role will involve providing vacation coverage for Area Managers and participating in operational excellence initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency.
You will also be responsible for training associates and verifying their compliance with SOPs, ensuring that all team members are equipped to perform their tasks safely and effectively. By actively participating in safety initiatives, you will help foster a culture of safety within the Fulfillment Center. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining high performance standards and achieving operational goals.

Amazon offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $24.00 to $26.00, with opportunities for additional earnings through overtime pay and performance bonuses.
