What you'll do

As a Regional Environmental Engineer at Amazon, you will oversee compliance with environmental regulations and Amazon policies at AWS data centers in Ohio. You will manage and drive initiatives that promote an environmentally responsible culture within the organization, ensuring that all work performed by contractors, consultants, and employees meets Amazon's standards. Your role will involve developing environmental metrics to measure, monitor, and forecast performance, conducting thorough environmental audits, and providing guidance to teams on compliance matters. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including design, construction, and operations teams, to implement Amazon's environmental standards effectively. Your responsibilities will also include prioritizing and managing compliance projects, ensuring that all activities align with regulatory requirements and corporate policies.
