What you'll do

As a Regional Environmental Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations at AWS data centers in North Carolina. You will develop and implement standards and policies that support AWS's sustainability goals while overseeing the compliance of various facilities and operations. Your role will involve collaborating with different business units to create scalable compliance strategies that align with AWS's growth objectives.

You will engage with environmental teams to drive continuous improvement in compliance systems and risk management practices. Your expertise will be critical in architecting and implementing AWS's global environmental programs, ensuring that all operations meet regulatory requirements. You will also provide specialist knowledge and support to teams working on environmental initiatives across AWS.
