You are a motivated individual interested in starting a career in data center operations. You have a foundational understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, and you are eager to learn about maintaining critical infrastructure. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with others to ensure the smooth operation of facilities. You are detail-oriented and capable of troubleshooting technical issues as they arise. You are committed to safety and understand the importance of following protocols in a data center environment. You are open to receiving training and mentorship to develop your skills further in this field.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and management of mechanical and electrical equipment within the data center. You will respond to equipment failures and work to minimize downtime for customers. You will investigate and resolve technical issues related to equipment failures, maintenance, and upgrades. You will collaborate with vendors to ensure maintenance services are performed safely and efficiently. You will monitor and control equipment within the data center to ensure optimal performance. You will assist in the installation and removal of servers and hardware equipment as needed. You will work closely with your team to drive innovation while reducing operational costs. You will participate in training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in data center operations.
