Who you are
You have a strong background in electrical engineering and failure analysis, with at least 5 years of experience in a lab environment — you've developed and executed lab procedures that enhance product reliability and safety. Your expertise in electrical fault isolation techniques and data analysis allows you to investigate failure mechanisms effectively.
You are passionate about hands-on work and thrive in collaborative settings — you enjoy liaising with cross-functional teams to coordinate failure analysis campaigns and provide guidance on manufacturing and design best practices. Your analytical mindset enables you to interpret complex data and drive reliability improvements at scale.
What you'll do
In this role, you will conduct thorough failure analysis utilizing electrical fault isolation techniques and physical analysis methods — your work will directly impact the design and reliability of Amazon's hardware products. You will spend a majority of your time in the lab, developing and executing world-class failure analysis outcomes.
You will act as the formal liaison between the SPICE lab and the Annapurna Labs' cross-functional teams, coordinating failure analysis campaigns and triaging devices from reliability qualifications. Your insights will guide manufacturing and design best practices, ensuring that products meet high reliability standards.
You will be responsible for investigating failure mechanisms in enterprise compute and networking assemblies, including thermal solutions — your findings will help accelerate innovation and improve product safety. You will also collaborate with various teams to drive reliability improvements and contribute to the overall success of Amazon's hardware programs.
