Job Description
Who you are
You are an experienced Field and Design Engineer with a strong background in project management and logistics. You have a hands-on approach and a customer-obsessed mindset, ready to drive expansion in Amazon's Last Mile Delivery network. Your expertise in layout design and feasibility studies allows you to optimize delivery station layouts effectively. You possess excellent problem-solving skills and can troubleshoot issues as they arise during construction projects.
You have experience coordinating with both external and internal stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are aligned on project goals and timelines. Your ability to manage budgets and project milestones is crucial in securing target launch schedules. You are innovative and can adapt to changing requirements, always focusing on delivering the best results for customers.
Desirable
Experience with Material Handling Equipment and construction project management is a plus. Familiarity with logistics networks and the ability to lead design optimization efforts will set you apart in this role.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for the project management of new facility launches and modifications to Amazon's building network. You will lead the development of design, project milestones, and budget estimation to secure the target launch schedule. Your responsibilities will include conducting layout design and feasibility studies, as well as managing project timelines and budgets.
You will coordinate with external and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Your role will involve troubleshooting and problem-solving throughout the construction process, ensuring that all projects meet quality standards and deadlines. You will also be involved in optimizing the layout of delivery stations and managing the implementation of Material Handling Equipment.
