You possess a keen ability to identify process improvement opportunities — your analytical mindset allows you to evaluate existing processes and suggest enhancements that benefit the organization. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with various business finance, operations accounting, and IT groups to ensure seamless integration of accounting practices.

What you'll do

In this role, you will support all parts of Amazon's financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls. You will drive month-end close activities and consolidation for the Lending business, playing a crucial role in the financial health of the organization. Your responsibilities will include guiding business teams on accounting areas and evaluating accounting positions for new projects.

You will be expected to enhance partnerships between accounting and various business units, fostering a culture of collaboration and efficiency. Your insights will help shape the financial strategies of new business launches, ensuring that all financial aspects are thoroughly considered and addressed. You will also be responsible for driving efficiencies in business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions that streamline operations.
