Amazon is hiring a Finance Manager to join their Finance Operations Accounting and Analysis team in Bangalore. You'll lead the month-end close process, ensure compliance, and drive operational excellence in financial reporting.

You are a highly motivated and detail-oriented finance professional with a strong background in accounting and financial control. You have experience leading month-end close processes and ensuring compliance with internal policies and audit requirements. Your analytical skills allow you to monitor and enhance process efficiency through automation and continuous improvement. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results.

You possess a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices, and you are committed to upholding the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency. Your ability to benchmark practices against industry standards ensures excellence in accounting processes. You are proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and driving operational excellence within the finance function.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the end-to-end month-end close process, including journal entry posting, global general ledger reconciliations, and financial reporting. You will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting while maintaining a strong emphasis on compliance and control. You will own transition management, reporting decks, and operational reconciliations, working closely with Central Accounting and Global Finance teams.

You will monitor and enhance process efficiency and accuracy through automation and continuous improvement initiatives. Your role will involve analyzing large datasets to provide insights that align with Amazon's leadership principles. You will engage with leadership on performance reviews and contribute to the overall success of the finance operations team.
