What you'll do
In this role, you will support the accounting function by ensuring the successful completion of close activities, which include data entry and ledger entry. You will prepare and review complex account reconciliations and financial analyses, acting independently to lead and complete projects with complex objectives. You will work closely with the finance manager and collaborate with central accounting and finance operations teams to maintain a controlled accounting process. Your responsibilities will also include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations and conducting balance sheet analysis to support management in decision-making.
You will be instrumental in driving process changes and improvements to support Amazon's rapid growth, ensuring that the accounting processes align with the company's philosophy of customer obsession and delivering results. You will have the opportunity to identify and execute projects that enhance efficiency within the finance team, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
