Your analytical skills enable you to perform reliability predictions of semiconductor failure mechanisms, ensuring comprehensive coverage throughout the product lifecycle.

What you'll do
As a Senior Hardware Reliability Engineer at Amazon, you will be responsible for the reliability engineering of the Kuiper Customer Terminal products. Your role will involve developing and implementing innovative technologies and mechanisms to resolve complex reliability challenges. You will define new test specifications and methodologies to ensure that semiconductor components meet Amazon's product reliability requirements. Collaborating closely with design teams, you will identify and validate product risks through Design for Reliability mechanisms, working proactively to mitigate these risks during the development phase.
You will also perform reliability predictions of semiconductor failure mechanisms, scaling your analysis to cover the entire product lifetime in field applications. Your insights will guide the design and development process, ensuring that the products not only meet but exceed customer expectations for reliability. You will engage in continuous improvement efforts, leveraging your expertise to enhance existing processes and methodologies. Your contributions will play a crucial role in the success of Project Kuiper, which aims to provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to underserved communities worldwide.
