Who you are
You have over 3 years of experience providing technical support in a corporate environment, specifically with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems. Your troubleshooting skills are top-notch, allowing you to resolve hardware and software issues efficiently. You are a team player who values user satisfaction and is eager to contribute to the success of your team. You are adaptable and can quickly learn new processes and procedures while managing multiple requests. Your knowledge of networking, particularly at the CCNA level, enables you to support infrastructure effectively. You possess a strong understanding of IT asset management and are committed to maintaining high-quality support standards.
What you'll do
In this role, you will provide technical support to Amazon employees across various offices in Japan. You will manage IT assets from ordering to setup and disposal, ensuring that all equipment is accounted for and functioning properly. You will be the face of the IT department, addressing user issues and guiding them through troubleshooting processes. Your responsibilities will also include improving existing operational processes and tools to enhance efficiency. You will support IT infrastructure maintenance, primarily focusing on network and UPS systems. Additionally, you will be required to work on-call and may need to adjust your schedule for infrastructure projects, including occasional weekend and evening shifts.
