Who you are
You have extensive experience managing large, complex programs, particularly in the context of data center operations. Your background includes a strong technical understanding of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems, which are crucial for maintaining mission-critical data centers. You are committed to transforming how national security and defense agencies partner with industry, ensuring that innovative cloud computing solutions are effectively implemented.
You possess a deep understanding of operational reliability and performance metrics, with a focus on achieving high uptime standards. Your ability to troubleshoot and maintain critical facility equipment, including electrical support systems, sets you apart as a leader in this field. You are a U.S. Citizen and can obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph, which is essential for this role.
What you'll do
As the Regional DCEO Manager, you will lead the operations and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment within the data centers. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the facilities meet or exceed defined service level agreements, maintaining a 99.999% uptime for mission-critical servers. You will act as Amazonβs front line for troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and effectively.
You will collaborate with various teams to implement innovative solutions that enhance operational performance while minimizing costs. Your role will involve overseeing the maintenance of stand-by diesel generators and related fuel systems, ensuring that all equipment is reliable and ready for use at all times. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing best practices for data center operations, contributing to the overall success of the AWS Infrastructure Services organization.
What we offer
Amazon provides a competitive salary range of $153,200.00 - $254,500.00 USD annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) matching program.
