What you'll do

In this role, you will lead and manage multiple data centers within your region, ensuring that they operate reliably 24/7. You will develop and implement standard operating procedures for cluster operations, ensuring that all team members are trained and equipped to meet operational standards. Your leadership will guide a team of data center facility managers and chief engineers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and efficiency.

You will be responsible for monitoring operational performance metrics and implementing improvements where necessary. This includes conducting regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. You will also collaborate with other AWS teams to address any infrastructure challenges and ensure that our customers have continual access to the services they rely on.

Your role will involve strategic planning to optimize the performance of data center operations, including resource allocation and capacity planning. You will work closely with supply chain specialists and security experts to ensure that all aspects of data center operations are aligned with AWS's high standards for safety and security.
