You possess a strong background in design and process engineering, with a focus on developing automated material handling equipment and packaging technologies. Your ability to leverage groundbreaking technologies in logistics systems makes you an ideal candidate for this role. What you'll do
In this role, you will lead initiatives to develop and deliver world-class sortation and transportation systems. You will collaborate with internal and external teams to design high-quality solutions for various projects, including green-fields, brown-fields, and retrofits. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the design process from start to finish, ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
You will have ownership of process designs, complementing each design with a thorough understanding of operational requirements. Your projects will involve designing highly automated fulfillment centers, cross-dock facilities, and transportation centers, where you will apply your expertise in engineering to create innovative solutions.
You will also be responsible for mentoring and guiding junior engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within your team. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the success of engineering projects and ensuring that they align with Amazon's strategic goals.
