What you'll do

As the Data Center Operations Night Manager, you will be operationally responsible for a data center, overseeing the performance of your team and ensuring that all operations run smoothly. You will prioritize and assign trouble tickets to data center technicians, ensuring that issues are resolved promptly and efficiently. Your role will involve developing career paths for your employees, providing them with the training and support they need to succeed in their roles.

You will manage the day-to-day operations of the data center, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally. This includes overseeing the maintenance of servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment. You will collaborate with various teams across AWS to deliver the highest standards of service and support for our customers.

In addition to managing operations, you will be responsible for recruiting and training new data technicians, ensuring that your team is well-equipped to handle the demands of the data center. You will also be involved in developing and implementing operational strategies that enhance efficiency and reduce costs, all while maintaining a focus on safety and security.
