You are a talented and ambitious competition lawyer with a strong background in EU competition law. You have experience advising businesses on complex legal matters and are skilled at developing innovative solutions to novel legal questions. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about providing strategic legal guidance to senior leadership. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively partner with local legal teams and engage with regulators and policy makers. You are proactive in identifying developments of relevance for the business and are committed to shaping long-term strategies on high-impact issues.

Desirable

Experience working in a corporate legal environment, particularly within the e-commerce or technology sectors, is a plus. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and enforcement matters across Europe will enhance your candidacy. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to training and compliance initiatives.

What you'll do

In this role, you will drive competition and related regulatory matters across the EU and member states, partnering closely with local legal teams to ensure compliance and strategic alignment. You will advise the business and legal colleagues on competition-related matters across all Amazon businesses in Europe, helping to navigate complex legal landscapes. Your insights will be crucial in shaping the company’s long-term strategy on high-impact and often novel issues. You will think big and look around corners to spot potential issues, ensuring that Amazon remains at the forefront of competition law. Additionally, you will collaborate with the public policy team to engage with regulators and policy makers on a broad range of issues, contributing to the development of mechanisms for training, compliance, and cross-functional coordination within the EU Competition team.
