Who you are
You are a qualified lawyer with experience in cloud services and IT law, particularly in the context of commercial and public sector sales. You possess strong written and oral communication skills, allowing you to effectively draft and negotiate technology service agreements. You thrive in challenging environments and demonstrate sound judgment in ambiguous situations, making you a proactive and entrepreneurial team member.
You have a solid understanding of regulatory interpretation and compliance, particularly in relation to data protection and public policy matters. Your ability to provide legal counsel to senior executives and collaborate with cross-functional teams is essential for success in this role. You are comfortable managing legal issues that arise in existing relationships and handling inquiries from customers and business partners.
What you'll do
In this role, you will support Amazon Web Services (AWS) in selling to commercial and public sector customers throughout the EMEA region, with a primary focus on Italy. You will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and advising on strategic technology service agreements with enterprise customers and partners. Your legal expertise will guide AWS sales teams in navigating complex legal landscapes and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
You will provide ongoing legal counsel and regulatory guidance on various product development, operational, security, and compliance matters. Your role will involve participating in legal team projects and collaborating with other legal professionals to address legal challenges that arise in the course of business. You will also engage in regional and international travel as needed to support AWS initiatives.
