Job Description
Who you are
You are a talented lawyer with over 5 years of legal experience, ideally with a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work. You hold a license to practice law in Europe, the US, or another common law jurisdiction, and you have a strong background in transactional and technology licensing. You are enthusiastic about technology and enjoy being continually challenged, demonstrating sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.
You have experience structuring, drafting, and negotiating a range of agreements, particularly those related to satellite infrastructure and field services. Your ability to develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways sets you apart. You thrive in environments that require flexibility and quick decision-making, and you are comfortable advising teams on complex legal matters.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be embedded with the Amazon Leo's ground infrastructure services and operations teams, supporting them in contracting with field services providers across the APAC region. You will structure, draft, and negotiate agreements necessary for constructing and operating satellite gateways, ensuring that the business can move quickly while addressing legal risks. You will counsel the business team on legal issues related to Amazon Leoβs ground infrastructure and field services, helping them navigate the complexities of the legal landscape.
Your responsibilities will include developing processes that allow the business flexibility while managing risk effectively. You will collaborate closely with various teams, ensuring that legal considerations are integrated into business strategies. Your role will also involve some travel, both domestic and international, to support the needs of the business.
