Who you are

You are someone who has completed high school and holds a disability certificate. You may not have prior experience, but you are eager to learn and contribute to the maintenance team at Amazon's Fulfillment Center. You are comfortable working in a team environment and following established procedures and rules. You have a positive attitude towards working in an inclusive culture that values diversity.

You possess basic knowledge of mechanical or electrical engineering, ideally from a vocational high school or technical school. You are familiar with using tools and understand the importance of following safety protocols. You are also proficient in using Excel for data entry and Word for document creation, which will help you in your daily tasks.

Desirable

While not required, having experience in factory work or familiarity with machinery will be beneficial. You understand the importance of maintenance procedures and can follow instructions effectively. You are open to expanding your skills and responsibilities as you grow in the role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will support the maintenance team at the Fulfillment Center by executing tasks according to established procedures. You will be responsible for entering data related to maintenance parts orders and inspecting delivered items. You will also assist with inventory management, including receiving, moving, and storing items as needed. Your contributions will help ensure the smooth operation of the Fulfillment Center and support Amazon's growth.

You will work closely with the maintenance team to gather and input data, helping to improve the performance and productivity of the equipment. Your attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. You will collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement and contribute to a culture of continuous enhancement.

What we offer

Amazon offers a contract position with the possibility of renewal every six months. The hourly wage is 1,250 yen, with transportation costs covered separately. You will work a minimum of 30 hours per week, typically between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with weekends off.
