Job Description
Who you are
You are a motivated technician who enjoys working in a team and is committed to maintaining equipment to high standards. You understand the importance of safety and are proactive in addressing and resolving issues to ensure the reliability of equipment. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are willing to work in non-traditional shift patterns, including nights and weekends.
You have experience in performing proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment. You are skilled in carrying out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse, ensuring that equipment is always operational and effective. You are familiar with health and safety policies and practices, and you prioritize these in your daily work.
What you'll do
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for conducting planned preventative maintenance on various equipment within the Amazon warehouse. You will respond promptly to breakdowns, investigating and implementing solutions to minimize downtime. Your role will involve using the latest tools and technologies to maximize equipment effectiveness and ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard.
You will also support the development and progression of on-site apprentices, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles. Additionally, you will work on continuous improvement projects, rolling out best practices across a range of EU sites to enhance operational efficiency and equipment reliability.
