Job Description

Who you are

You are a proactive individual with a strong commitment to health and safety practices. As a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician, you will maintain a wide range of equipment and workspaces, ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely. You understand the importance of preventing machine downtime and are dedicated to enhancing the operational environment. You are comfortable working in a live distribution warehouse and can quickly respond to machinery issues as they arise.

You have a collaborative spirit and enjoy working alongside senior colleagues and apprentices. Your role will involve supporting the development of on-site apprentices, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers. You are detail-oriented and take pride in your work, always looking for ways to improve processes and equipment effectiveness.

What you'll do

As an RME Technician, you will carry out proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment. You will be responsible for conducting reactive repairs and fault diagnosis, ensuring that any breakdowns are addressed promptly to minimize downtime. Your day-to-day tasks will include using the latest tools and technologies to maximize equipment effectiveness and uphold all health and safety policies and practices.

You will also work on continuous improvement projects, rolling out best practices across various EU sites. Your ability to suggest long-term improvements will be crucial in enhancing the operational environment. You will be based on-site, allowing you to respond quickly to any machinery issues and collaborate effectively with your team.
