What you'll do
As a Maintenance Technician at Amazon, you will carry out planned preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment within the Fulfillment Centre. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all safety protocols are followed in every task you undertake. You will respond promptly to any machinery breakdowns, investigating issues and implementing solutions to minimize downtime. Your role will also involve collaborating with senior maintenance technicians, learning from their expertise, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
You will be expected to maintain high levels of equipment availability, supporting internal customers by ensuring that all machinery operates smoothly. Your proactive approach will help identify areas for improvement, and you will be encouraged to provide feedback and suggestions to enhance maintenance processes. This full-time day shift role includes working 10-hour shifts over four days, with one weekend day included in the schedule. You will be an integral part of the team, ensuring that the Fulfillment Centre operates efficiently and safely.
