Who you are
You are a proactive Maintenance Technician with a strong focus on health and safety practices. You understand the importance of adhering to safety regulations and policies, ensuring that all work is carried out with the utmost care. Your experience includes conducting planned preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment, including conveyors and PLCs, ensuring they operate at peak performance. You are quick to react to breakdowns, effectively communicating with affected parties and working efficiently to resolve issues. You are committed to continuous improvement, learning from breakdowns and providing feedback to enhance processes. You thrive in a collaborative environment, supporting and learning from senior technicians to develop your skills further.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be part of Amazon's Reliability, Maintenance & Engineering (RME) team, responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting equipment across the Fulfillment Center. Your primary duties will include conducting preventative maintenance to ensure equipment availability and reliability. You will react promptly to equipment breakdowns, working efficiently to restore functionality while communicating clearly with your team. You will also support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing breakdowns and suggesting enhancements to processes. Your contributions will help maintain a safe and efficient working environment, ensuring that all equipment meets operational standards.
