Who you are
You have a strong background in automation engineering, with experience in maximizing equipment reliability and operational performance. Your expertise in troubleshooting complex control systems allows you to analyze performance metrics effectively and drive continuous improvement initiatives. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize material handling equipment systems and implement innovative projects.
You are familiar with state-of-the-art technology, including conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, print and apply systems, and SCADA devices and programs. Your proactive approach to controls automation ensures that operational challenges are addressed before they impact performance. You understand the importance of delivering exceptional service and speed, aligning your work with Amazon's commitment to customer satisfaction.
What you'll do
As an Automation Engineer at Amazon, you will play a crucial role in the Reliability & Maintenance Engineering (RME) team. Your primary responsibility will be to maximize equipment reliability and operational performance in fulfillment centers. You will provide proactive controls automation and technical support, ensuring that all robotics and material handling equipment are functioning optimally.
You will analyze performance metrics and troubleshoot complex control systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will optimize material handling equipment systems and contribute to innovative projects that enhance operational efficiency. Your work will directly impact the speed and accuracy of order fulfillment, ensuring that customers receive their orders with Amazon's signature service.
