Who you are
You have a strong background in automation engineering, with experience in maximizing equipment reliability and operational performance. Your expertise in troubleshooting complex control systems allows you to analyze performance metrics effectively and drive continuous improvement initiatives. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize material handling equipment (MHE) systems. Your technical skills are complemented by a proactive approach to controls automation, ensuring that operational challenges are met with innovative solutions.
You are familiar with state-of-the-art technology, including conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, print and apply systems, and SCADA devices and programs. Your ability to analyze and interpret data helps you identify areas for improvement and implement effective strategies. You understand the importance of operational excellence and are committed to delivering exceptional service to customers.
What you'll do
As an Automation Engineer at Amazon, you will play a crucial role in the Reliability & Maintenance Engineering (RME) team, focusing on maximizing equipment reliability and operational performance. You will provide proactive controls automation and technical support, ensuring that all robotics and material handling equipment (MHE) operate efficiently. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting complex control systems and analyzing performance metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize MHE systems and implement innovative projects that enhance operational efficiency. Your work will directly contribute to ensuring that customers receive their orders with Amazon's signature speed and accuracy. You will be involved in various projects that leverage advanced technology, and your insights will help shape the future of operations at Amazon.
