Overview

Amazon is hiring a Business Affairs Executive to support scripted, unscripted, and features deals in Spain. You'll work closely with various teams and external partners, applying your knowledge of television industry agreements and contract law.

Job Description

Who you are

You are a Spanish qualified lawyer with a comprehensive working knowledge of television industry agreements, guild regulations, and contract law. You have a demonstrated ability to interact with agents, managers, and outside attorneys, efficiently communicating status and tradeoffs with various stakeholders. Your excellent organizational skills enable you to build strong internal client relationships across departments.

You thrive in time-sensitive conditions, advising senior-level executives on projects and navigating complex discussions related to writers, producers, cast, and production companies. Your clear thinking and risk analysis skills help generate satisfaction in deals, ensuring that all parties are aligned and informed throughout the process.

What you'll do

In this role, you will provide support across all scripted, unscripted, and features deals in Spain, working closely with Studio legal affairs and addressing production issues as they arise. You will draft and negotiate agreements, ensuring compliance with guild regulations and intellectual property rights. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with colleagues in the department and across the studio to foster strong internal relationships, advising executives on time-sensitive matters, and maintaining clear communication with external partners.

You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of entertainment at Amazon, contributing to the development of innovative projects that define how customers engage with movies and television. Your expertise will be essential in navigating the complexities of the entertainment industry, ensuring that all deals are structured effectively and aligned with Amazon's strategic goals.
