You have a background in business affairs or a related field, with experience in managing talent deals in the film and television industry. Your understanding of the entertainment landscape in India is strong, and you are passionate about shaping the future of content consumption. You possess excellent negotiation skills and the ability to work collaboratively with creative teams to achieve the best outcomes for projects.
You are detail-oriented and have a knack for navigating complex agreements and contracts. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to effectively liaise with various stakeholders, including writers, producers, and directors. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
What you'll do
In this role, you will support the Amazon Studios Local Originals team by managing above-the-line talent deals, including negotiations with writers, producers, directors, and cast members. You will collaborate closely with creative teams to ensure that all agreements align with the strategic vision of Amazon Studios. Your responsibilities will include drafting and reviewing contracts, conducting market research to inform negotiations, and maintaining relationships with key industry contacts.
You will also be involved in the development of original content, providing insights and recommendations based on your understanding of market trends and audience preferences. Your role will require you to stay updated on industry developments and competitor activities to ensure Amazon Studios remains a leader in the market.
