You are proactive in identifying potential safety risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them, ensuring that safety targets are consistently met.

What you'll do

In this role, you will play a critical part in the implementation of high safety standards across all Amazon construction projects in the MEU region, which includes Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Austria. You will establish health and safety compliance across existing and new contractual agreements with vendors, ensuring that all parties adhere to Amazon's safety protocols. Your responsibilities will include managing the local health and safety consultant network and increasing the adoption of digital safety management tools.

You will be accountable for meeting safety targets and will work closely with vendor management boards to ensure that safety practices are upheld. Your role will require you to stay updated on local construction safety standards and regulations, and you will be responsible for developing standard operating procedures that enhance safety compliance processes. You will also engage with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and efficiency across all construction projects.
