Amazon is hiring a Logistics Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure high standards in their Transportation network. You'll be responsible for managing logistics staff and improving safety and performance metrics.

Who you are

You have experience as a Logistics Supervisor, demonstrating your ability to manage operational duties effectively. You are skilled in supervising logistics assistants, coordinators, and delivery associates, ensuring that every shipment meets and exceeds operational KPIs. Your attention to detail allows you to monitor workflows and daily metrics, contributing to the overall success of the delivery station. You are also comfortable with coaching and mentoring team members, helping them to improve their performance and achieve their goals.

You understand the importance of safety in logistics operations and prioritize it in your daily management practices. You have experience in partnering with supporting departments to enhance logistics processes and operations. Your communication skills enable you to set clear expectations with delivery service providers, ensuring quality in their deliverables. You are proactive in identifying areas for improvement and implementing innovative solutions to drive efficiency.

What you'll do

In this role, you will support the daily management of operational duties and step in for the Operations Manager when necessary. You will be responsible for briefing and monitoring the workload of all drivers and associates, ensuring that administrative tasks are completed accurately. You will assist the Operations Manager in tracking, trending, and reporting on site performance regularly. Your role will involve interviewing candidates for associate roles, contributing to the growth and development of the team.

You will also play a key role in training and mentoring new team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. By measuring and monitoring overall workflows, you will help to maintain high standards of service and operational excellence. Your leadership will be crucial in driving both innovation and execution within the busy Transportation network at Amazon.
