Plaud is hiring a Logistics Supervisor to manage and optimize last-mile delivery operations for overseas warehouses. You'll work closely with internal teams and external partners to enhance customer experience and control logistics costs.
Job Description
Who you are
You have experience in managing last-mile logistics operations, particularly for overseas warehouses. Your fluency in both English and Mandarin allows you to communicate effectively with diverse teams and partners. You understand the intricacies of international logistics workflows and have practical experience coordinating with major carriers like FedEx, UPS, and DHL.
You possess in-depth knowledge of international customs clearance procedures and reverse logistics workflows for product returns. Your analytical skills enable you to monitor on-time delivery metrics and drive improvement actions based on data analysis. You are adept at building strong partnerships with local last-mile logistics providers and conducting performance reviews to ensure service excellence.
What you'll do
In this role, you will manage daily last-mile delivery operations from designated overseas warehouses, overseeing order processing, transportation arrangements, routing, status tracking, and exception handling. You will analyze causes of delays and implement improvement actions to enhance on-time delivery rates. Additionally, you will manage reverse logistics processes for returned shipments, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
You will conduct carrier selection, negotiation, and contract management, evaluating key performance indicators such as delivery time, success rate, damage rate, and service level. Your responsibilities will also include handling billing, claims, disputes, and issues related to carriers in a timely manner. You will continuously analyze the cost structure of last-mile logistics to identify saving opportunities and optimize operations.
