Who you are
You are a detail-oriented technician with experience in manufacturing assembly, particularly in the aerospace or electronics sectors. You thrive in environments where safety is paramount and are committed to maintaining high standards in all aspects of your work. Your ability to handle and install fiber optics and PCBAs is complemented by your understanding of electrical-mechanical assemblies. You are motivated by the challenge of building innovative technology from the ground up and enjoy solving complex problems that have a significant impact on the success of a project.
You have a strong background in maintaining and calibrating lab equipment, ensuring that all tools are in optimal working condition. Your experience includes supporting preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems. You are proactive in identifying equipment requirements and process improvements, contributing to the overall efficiency of the production line.
What you'll do
In this role, you will champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations, ensuring that all team members adhere to safety protocols. You will assemble and test a variety of avionic LRUs and electrical-mechanical assemblies, with a strong emphasis on detail and quality. Your responsibilities will include handling and installing fiber optics and PCBAs, ensuring that all components meet the required specifications.
You will also be responsible for maintaining and calibrating lab equipment, supporting preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems. Your role will involve identifying equipment requirements and process improvements, as well as maintaining floor stock inventory to ensure that production runs smoothly. You will work closely with other technicians and engineers to ensure that the production of the Leo satellites meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.
What we offer
Amazon offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $33.00 to $36.00, along with additional earnings including overtime pay and performance bonuses.
