Who you are

You have 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience, demonstrating a strong understanding of both manual and automated testing processes. Your background includes working on medium to large-sized projects, where you've taken ownership of test planning and execution. You are familiar with automated test frameworks such as Selenium or Appium, and you have a keen eye for detail when reviewing user interfaces for conformity and functionality. Your experience has equipped you with the skills to find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution, ensuring high-quality software delivery.

You are a proactive communicator, able to interpret and report testing results effectively. You understand the importance of advocating for quality in every phase of the development process, and you enjoy collaborating with Software Development Engineers (SDE) to grasp the overall technical architecture of the features you are testing. Your ability to gather test requirements and create detailed test cases is a testament to your thorough approach to quality assurance.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for manual and automated testing of features across various platforms, including web and mobile. You will own the planning, development, and execution of test plans and test cases, ensuring that all aspects of the software meet the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include reviewing user interfaces for conformity and functionality, as well as helping to develop, improve, and employ testing strategies and techniques.

You will work closely with development teams to understand the technical architecture of the software, which will enable you to conduct thorough testing and provide valuable feedback. Your role will also involve finding, isolating, documenting, and tracking bugs through to resolution, ensuring that any issues are addressed promptly. You will interpret and report testing results, acting as a vocal proponent for quality throughout the development lifecycle.
