Who you are
You have 3+ years of experience in software testing and automation, with a strong foundation in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks. Your proficiency in Java and JavaScript allows you to create robust testing solutions that ensure software quality. You are familiar with various testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Appium, and you understand the importance of integrating testing into development workflows. Your strong SQL skills enable you to analyze data effectively and track defects efficiently.
You possess excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills, which help you work effectively with cross-functional teams. Your experience in performance testing and security testing, using tools like OWASP ZAP and Burp Suite, allows you to identify and troubleshoot bottlenecks in applications. You are also comfortable mentoring junior engineers, contributing to Agile and DevOps practices, and improving testing processes.
What you'll do
In this role, you will design, develop, and enhance test automation frameworks for UI, API, and mobile applications. You will define and implement test strategies to ensure comprehensive coverage and conduct bug analysis to track defects and generate quality metrics. Overseeing large-scale test execution, you will lead both functional and non-functional testing efforts.
You will drive performance testing initiatives, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and optimize tests to ensure applications perform at their best. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers, helping them grow their skills and contribute to the team's success. Your role will also involve integrating new tools into the testing process and building dashboards to visualize quality metrics.
