Who you are

You have 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience, demonstrating a strong understanding of both manual and automated testing processes. Your background includes working as a QA lead on medium to large-sized projects, where you've honed your skills in developing and executing test plans and test cases. You are adept at reviewing user interfaces for conformity and functionality, ensuring that every aspect meets high-quality standards.

Your experience with at least one automated test framework, such as Selenium or Appium, showcases your ability to implement effective testing strategies. You are a proactive problem-solver who can find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution. Your communication skills allow you to interpret and report testing results effectively, advocating for quality in every phase of the development process.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for manual and automated testing of features across various platforms, including web and mobile. You will own the planning, development, and execution of test plans and test cases, ensuring that all software solutions meet Amazon's high standards for quality. Collaborating closely with Software Development Engineers (SDE), you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented.

You will help develop, improve, and employ testing strategies and techniques that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process. Your role will involve interpreting and reporting testing results, making you a vocal proponent for quality throughout the development lifecycle. You will also be involved in gathering test requirements to create detailed test documentation, ensuring that all aspects of the software are thoroughly tested before launch.
