Who you are
You have a strong background in managing physical security operations, with exceptional knowledge of security practices and the ability to develop post orders and define security procedures. Your leadership skills are resilient, allowing you to adapt to a dynamic environment while ensuring the safety and security of data center operations. You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to effectively handle site incidents and collaborate with various stakeholders.
You are experienced in working with security equipment and have participated in construction projects, driving day-to-day process improvement activities. Your familiarity with security audits and testing new security technologies ensures that you can maintain high standards of security within the data center environment. You understand the importance of consistent deployment of security policies and procedures and are committed to upholding these standards.
What you'll do
In this role, you will manage the physical security operations of Amazon's data centers, ensuring that all security measures are effectively implemented and maintained. You will develop and refine security procedures, handle site incidents, and work closely with vendors to ensure compliance with security standards. Your responsibilities will include participating in site audits and reviews, as well as testing new security technologies to enhance the overall security posture of the data centers.
You will collaborate with the Infrastructure Operations team to drive improvements in security processes and procedures, ensuring that all team members are trained and aware of security protocols. Your role will also involve overseeing the deployment of security policies and procedures, ensuring that they are consistently applied across all operations. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of security awareness and compliance within the team, contributing to the overall success of AWS's infrastructure services.
