You have a strong technical background with experience in managing and resolving technical tickets within SLA timelines. Your knowledge of computer and electronic hardware, operating systems, and software allows you to implement effective technical solutions. You are adept at troubleshooting straightforward problems and can determine when to deviate from standard practices to achieve desired results.

You possess a comprehensive understanding of Gatehouse PC configurations and how automation devices are connected to the PC. Your ability to isolate root causes through iterative testing showcases your analytical skills. You are organized and capable of managing inventory for GH automation equipment, ensuring all items are logged and ordered as needed.

What you'll do

As a TOM Technician, you will be responsible for conducting daily health checks across all RRG sites and performing early fault detection. You will monitor equipment performance metrics and collaborate with various teams, including TIE Procurement and OTS, to ensure smooth operations. Your role will involve coordinating with different departments to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.

You will also be expected to maintain a high level of support for the computer and electronic hardware used in TOM managed yards. Your proactive approach will help in identifying potential issues before they escalate, ensuring that the yard systems operate efficiently and effectively.
