Amazon is hiring a Vendor Manager to drive vendor recruitment and partnerships for their Retail business in Europe. You'll be responsible for onboarding new vendors and ensuring sustainable growth on the Amazon platform.
Job Description
Who you are
You have experience in vendor management and recruitment, ideally within a retail or e-commerce environment. You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to effectively engage with potential vendors and explain the benefits of partnering with Amazon. You are adept at analyzing vendor potential and have a strategic mindset to cultivate partnerships that align with customer needs.
You are comfortable working autonomously and can manage the entire recruitment cycle of new vendors. Your ability to negotiate terms and provide insights to vendors will be crucial in ensuring their long-term success on the Amazon platform. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by the challenge of building a diverse vendor portfolio.
What you'll do
In this role, you will identify and prospect new vendors, reaching out to them through various channels including cold calls and commercial events. You will analyze their potential for Amazon and guide them through the onboarding process, helping them integrate their catalog data into the Amazon platform. You will serve as a business consultant to new vendors, providing insights and advice tailored to their specific business profiles.
You will lead the recruitment cycle, ensuring that new vendors are set up for sustainable growth on Amazon. This includes negotiating annual terms and maintaining ongoing communication with vendors to support their integration and success. Your role will be pivotal in building the best possible selection for Amazon customers across Europe, contributing to the overall growth of the Retail business.
