Amazon is hiring an Occupational Doctor to perform medical checks related to workplace risks and provide first aid assistance. You'll work closely with the local EHS team to improve health conditions for employees. This role requires expertise in occupational health and safety.
Job Description
Who you are
You are an experienced Occupational Doctor with a strong background in workplace health and safety. You have a deep understanding of occupational risks and are skilled in performing medical checks and issuing reports. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders ensures that everyone is informed about health assessments and recommendations.
You are proactive in identifying areas for improvement within medical services and have experience in liaising with relevant authorities regarding work-related incidents. Your analytical skills allow you to review and assess risk assessments, suggesting necessary improvements to enhance employee health and safety.
What you'll do
In this role, you will perform medical checks related to occupational and workplace risks, issuing individual results reports to ensure compliance with health standards. You will review and certify medical check results, providing explanations to stakeholders when necessary. As part of the local EHS team, you will analyze risk assessments and suggest improvement measures, including health examinations and vaccinations.
You will also be responsible for developing annual medical service reports and epidemiologic reports, analyzing results, and providing proactive programs to improve overall health conditions for all employees. Your role will involve advising local and central teams regarding medical service findings and needs, ensuring that Amazon maintains a high standard of health and safety for its workforce.
