Who you are

You are an experienced Operations Engineer with a strong background in managing complex projects within supply chain environments. You have a customer-obsessed mindset and are adept at collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success. Your ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage project lifecycles is key to your success in this role.

You possess a solid understanding of the technologies and design approaches used in fulfillment and distribution center designs. Your experience includes working directly with equipment vendors and partners, ensuring that all aspects of project delivery meet the highest standards. You are proactive in mitigating risks and managing project scopes to deliver on time and within budget.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the planning and implementation of facility network infrastructure, including new builds, retrofits, and expansions. You will manage the lifecycle of challenging projects, ensuring that all deliverables align with Amazon's operational goals. Your responsibilities will include developing innovative solutions for sortation and distribution, as well as overseeing the integration of new technologies into existing systems.

You will work closely with various teams to coordinate efforts and ensure timely handovers of projects. Your role will require approximately 75% regional travel, allowing you to engage with different facilities and teams across the network. You will be instrumental in driving change and improving operational efficiencies within Amazon's supply chain.
